a productive alternative to the noon show boredom

today i woke up at 7:15am and peed for like 10 minutes. i then proceeded to promptly fall back asleep only to be JARRED awakw by alarm. i almost caved by going back to sleep, but i don't believe in the snooze feature, so i got my groggy ass up and hap-hazardly threw some clothes. in the process i put on my new mexico t-shirt. first thing when i get to work, this truck op, josh, is standing outside smoking a but. i don't think i've ever actually talked to him. "i like your shirt". we talk about new mexico for a while. then i'm attacke din the hallway by kris talking about osme broken monitor from yesterday. just let me at least put my shit down people before i'm bombarded by annoying stuff.

well, yesterday i ran into the upstairs neighbors outside while they were smoking. i was dressed like ass in a can because i was half asleep anyway from my early start and decided to go take the trash out. normally i check to see if anyone is out there so i don't have to run into people, but, i was out of it. so we all exchange greetings, and as i'm coming back for the "dumpster" upstairs neighbor inquires, "do you wanna take a break from your chores and have a smoke with us?", also shoving a cigarette in my direction. taken aback and also mindful of the odd conversations we've had in the past (like when i was going to meet my friends at big city (i know lame)one night and he stopped and tried to have a whole long conversation with me and kept talking in my direction as i walked away), and also really tired, i replied, "oh, thanks but i'm really tired. i had to get up really early today. i just fell asleep on the coach for like half an hour. but htanks for the offer."

tonight, it's quite possible and even more than likely that jen and i will got to hip hop night at avalon. anyone and everone is welcome to come shake their booties. mmmkay.
